The LightBox Gallery – A Brilliant Community Facility.

A shout out to the wonderful and determined trustees of the Lightbox gallery in Woking. The gallery faced a major cash squeeze but the trustees stepped up and have raised an impressive sum to keep the Lightbox going for at least a year while new funding models are put in place. It is a brilliant community facility and the leading contemporary art gallery in Surrey,   epitomised by the fantastic Grayson Perry exhibition, running until June 2nd. The opening, with a fascinating talk with Grayson Perry was much enjoyed by me, Frank Wates and Nicole Di.
