‘Activate Learning’ at Guildford College.

I enjoyed visiting a vibrant and lively Guildford College – hosted by Gary Headland CEO and his team and was privileged to be joined by Sue Sturgeon, Activate Learning Chair (and Guildford College Alumni). A fascinating tour with digital and tech ever more important to learners. Great to see carpentry being picked up as a key skill in bright new classrooms with enthusiastic young people being well coached and taught. All followed by an informal lunch with the team where we discussed mental health issues for young people and how ‘Activate’ are addressing this ever more pressing issue.
