Remembering Our Heroes on the 80th Anniversary of D-Day.

Today we mark 80 years since D-Day.

We wanted to acknowledge our heroes, home and abroad, who fought on the front-line or served at home in the many ways, vital to the success of the campaign and those who made the ultimate sacrifices for our today.

We cannot ever imagine the harrowing times during the conflict that our armed services men and women endured and the lasting effects it had on the surviving D-Day veterans who lost their comrades. Their lives since ever changed, the memories never fading. They fought for our freedom and we owe them our lives. We will always remember them. #DDay80#highsheriffofsurrey#thesurreylieutenancy
