Nuffield Health Woking Hospital 60th Anniversary

The sun shone strongly on the children and adults who celebrated this special anniversary on Saturday 16th July at the premises of the hospital. Most adults were members of staff or from their family and all would have enjoyed the excellent food on offer and a piece of the splendid celebratory cake. Justine Hillier, the Director, spoke about the history and work of the hospital. The High Sheriff and Mayor of Woking congratulated Justine and the staff upon their excellent work with their patients over so many years and also for the important help the hospital’s team gave to those seriously suffering from Covid during the pandemic.

A fine brand new bird stand will adorn the garden as a memento of the anniversary.

During his year of office the High Sheriff aims to give support to the people, agencies and charities in the county that are helping victims of domestic abuse. He warmly thanked the hospital staff for their kind donations to YourSanctuary, a Woking based charity that gives valuable help to many victims.

The High Sheriff and his wife much appreciated the warm welcome and hospitality they were kindly given by Justine, Fiona Tailer and Jackie Mitchell.
