Epsom Flag Raising

This took place by the Clock Tower in the Market Square after a civic procession led by the Mace Bearer had made its way from the Town Hall. The service was conducted by the Chaplain and the Mayor spoke of the pride of the country and the county in its Armed Services. A 2nd Lieutenant also addressed the audience of civic dignitaries, former members of the Armed Services, and members of the public who stopped to listen and watch the raising of the flag.
