Addressing Mental Health Amongst the Young – A Community Foundation Appeal

I was privileged to co host a dinner focused on mental health with the community foundation for Surrey. We had an excellent group of charities (Eikon, Surrey Care Trust and Be me) along with academics from Royal Holloway University and some of Surrey’s most generous philanthropists and charitable funds. Mental health – especially amongst the young – is a key issue of our time and is my broad Shrieval theme. There was an excellent conversation and warm support for the Community Foundation appeal where they aim to make a real difference to ensure support is available for young people suffering poor mental health / mental health crises.
