The Big Help Out – Coronation Weekend

The High Sheriff very much enjoyed a visit to gorgeous Newlands Corner. This was to join in with some litter picking along with the Surrey Hills Society as part of the “Big Help Out”. He also had a chance to see the preservation and conservation work being done with the 70 Yew Trees at Newlands Corner – some of them 1000+ years old. All good fun and good to be out volunteering in the fresh Surrey air.
